My adoptive parents have always tried to get me as much information on my birth parents as they could. They have been so supportive and caring. When I was a baby I had a hamangiona <em>[spelling]</em> under my eye the caused me to look like I had a black eye all the time. It was huge and it made me partly blind in my left eye. When I was two I got it removed, if I had been with my birth parents during that time I would have not been able to get it removed because they wouldn't have had the money to pay for the surgery.<br />A question that I get asked a whole lot is, do you ever wish you lived with your birth parents?<br />As much as I love both of my birth parents the answer would have to be no. My parents are the two people who have always been there for me ever since I was one month old.<br />I met my birth mother when I was 13 years old and now I am 15. I am hoping to meet my birth dad next month but since he lives in Alabama it makes its harder.<br />I love being adopted.
